Highlight – Life’s Accomplishment 2
In order to stay encouraged, I take the time to look over my life to assure that my living is not in vain. I often ask myself, how am I adding value to humanity. Have I encouraged or empowered someone else with the knowledge, skills, and experience I have gained during my life’s journey? Have I shared my challenges and how I overcame with others? I returned to college after my sons were grown to work on my Master of Science in Management and Leadership. The intention was to learn how to become an effective community leader and life coach. I love to see people accomplish their dreams, reach their goals, and overcome life’s obstacles. I love being a living testimony that these things can happen. The process of receiving my degree from Montreat College was challenging in itself – at times. However determination, persistence, and facing my giants to remove the stumbling blocks were found within my faith walk. Believing in myself and claiming and standing on God’s word, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me most definitely strengthened me (Philippians 4:13). I received my degree and it became a strong foundation for me in carrying out God’s will for my life. I am better prepared. God did it!
