LIFE’S JOURNEY - YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Have you ever felt you were all alone? Perhaps no one understands you or you’re having to deal with life’s challenges all by yourself. Have you ever needed someone to talk to…to listen to you…just to be there showing they care - but there was no one. Have you expected or simply thought that others would be there when you were in need - but no one was there. I’ve been in that space and place. Then one day I was reading the Bible and was reminded that God will never leave me nor forsake me. That spoke volumes to me and gave me peace in knowing that I truly am not alone.
The phrases “I will never leave you nor forsake you and he will never leave your or forsake you,” are biblical promises of God’s unwavering presence and faithfulness, assuring believers that He will never abandon or desert them, regardless of circumstances. You can read it for yourself in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5. In addition, the Bible tells us that God is omnipresent (everywhere), omnipotence (all power), and omniscience (all knowing). As a believer, that’s where I find my peace and keep my joy. Dealing with life from the spiritual side - walking by faith and trusting God works for me and it helps in pressing through life’s challenges on the physical. I’m also reminded the Bible consistently teaches that we should trust God as the ultimate source of provision, guidance, and approval, while recognizing that man is fallible and can let us down.
Now having said all of that, one might ask how can you trust someone or something you can’t see. I know what life challenges I have encountered and overcame.. It wasn’t anything I did on my own to be still here today. As I continue to experience life’s challenge, looking back reminds me and redirects my thoughts to walk by faith and not by sight. I see family and friends, but I still can’t trust they will be there for me - and very few have been. Just like I trust a chair is going to hold me when I sit in it; I trust I am never alone - especially when I’m going through life’s challenge. You have the same option to trust God and believe that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
