I CELEBRATE ME!

It’s not all about me - I know this. As I look over my life, I realize that my choices always impact someone else. I have made many choices that benefits all who choose to reap the benefits. My life is not my own; to God I belong. He created me to carry out his will. That is to help others and to build up his kingdom. God created me…us with a purpose and provided all the tools and gifts to fulfill His assignment.

This blog is not all about me; but I celebrate me. My diverse choices and life experiences have led me down many paths, wearing many masks, and many accomplishments. That’s a whole book itself. When I look over my life, I am reminded how blessed I truly am. I am blessed when doors are opened and blessed when doors are closed. I’m blessed when family and friends support me and blessed when they don’t. By God’s grace and mercy, I am blessed to have overcome many life’s adversities as a child, mother, and wife. I’m blessed to have made it through the many nights of tears and sadness. Again, that’s a whole book itself. Through my life’s experiences - good or bad, they are testimonies…stories used to empower others. As a matter of fact, I’m continuously empowered by my own stories…by my life’s journey. I’m truly blessed!

I encourage you to remove your masks and look over your life. Celebrate you for goals accomplished. Celebrate you for the value you have added to other lives. Celebrate you because you are loved by God - unconditionally. Celebrate you - just because. “Celebrate you for everything you survived! You’re still standing!”
