Redirected

Sometimes our life’s journey will take us off the straight and narrow. Choices we make and choices other people make impacts our direction. We may veer to the left; and run into quick sand. We may veer to the right and run off a cliff. Regardless – if and when you detour from the straight and narrow path, don’t give up.  You can always be redirected. Over these last seven months in 2025, I have traveled a rocky road. As I moved through life’s journey, as I often swerved to the left and sometimes to the right, I’m thankful for God giving me all I needed to stay on the straight and narrow. I’m thankful that God’s infinite wisdom gave me understanding and a clear sense of direction of the route I am traveling.

I’m encouraged and I encourage you to keep your eyes on the road. Don’t look to the left or to the right. Don’t be distracted by life’s bumps from the rocky road we journey. Stay focused. Stay in your lane. Let God be your GPS.   Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This passage underscores the necessity of relying on God for guidance and direction.  Allow yourself to be redirected when the rocks start coming fast and furious; for at the end of the road awaits a divine blessing.
