BIRTHDAY - REVISITING LIFE

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. A few more minutes - out with the old and in with the new. I am completing the age of this last year and entering into a new age of 60+ My grandmother always said, “A lady never tells her age.” As I pondered over this last year … over my life my thoughts started on how God gave me two of the greatest gifts. First, He gave me Jesus Christ - before I was formed in my mother’s womb. Jesus was sent to be an example of how we are to journey through this life. Then God breathed his spirit into me and gave me life sending me as a gift to the world to build up His kingdom. What a beautiful way to see my birth day. I say, “Happy Birthday to me! Heavenly Father, thank you!

Realizing, that I have more years behind me than I have before me, I now ponder on things I have done with my 60+ years of life? I ask “ How have I added value to the life of others … society…to the universe?” What works have I done? Do I have any unforgiveness? What have I accomplished? Where have I traveled? What relationships have I formed? Am I happy with my life? What is my next because I can’t go backwards? I’m only going forward. I’m, intentionally, stepping more into my purpose. I know God is guiding me and has already equipped me. This is my time!
